Apple Sauce Muffins

Delicious Apple sauce muffins is a recipe which was in my mind for quite a long time. Finally i made it few days back and it was delicious. It tasted so healthy and filling, it has full of apple and cinnamon flavour.

Banana Cinnamon Muffins
Banana Cornflakes Muffins
Citrus Mango Muffins
Banana Chocolate Muffins
Eggless Banana Nuts Muffins

Oats Bran Muffins

These muffins had the perfect crunchy top and moist and fluffy interior. Loved it, so much. Instead of apple you can use banana muffins as well..Will soon share different muffin recipes..

Ingredients for Apple Sauce Muffins

  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup / 120 grams
  • Sugar - ½ cup / 100 grams
  • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon Powder - ½ tsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Yogurt / Curd - ½ cup / 120 ml
  • Apple - 1 medium size or ½ cup of apple puree
  • Oil - ¼ cup / 60 ml
  • Demerara Sugar - 2 tblspn for topping over muffins
    (My 1 cup measures 240 ml)

How to make Apple Sauce Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
  2. Oil a silicon muffin tray lightly or line a muffin tray with cupcake cases.
  3. Take flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, in a bowl. Mix well.
  4. Add in oil, curd, apple puree and fold gently.
  5. Use an ice cream scoop to scoop the batter and fill the muffin tray.
  6. Bake this for 18 to 20 mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Remove it from oven and let it cool before removing from tray.
  8. Tasted best when served warm.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup / 120 gramsAll Purpose Flour / Maida
  • ½ cup / 100 grams Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

  • a pinch Salt
  • ½ cup / 120 ml Yogurt / Curd
  • 1 medium size or ½ cup of apple puree Apple

so i oiled the inside using a brush.. if you use normal pans, just line it with cupcake cases

    I tried this muffin, it came out sooooper...yummy ...thanks...
    I am very new to baking...my first try with your blog.
    I hv few doubts, please advise...u add salt, curd , baking soda in few n not in some of them(cakes/muffins)...what is the difference....
    And what shud be batter consistency for cake/bread/muffin.

    @appuit depends on each recipe dear..for cakes the texture should be little thin but not too thin. for muffin and bread it has to be thick.

    Temperature at 180?? I did that for 18 minutes, and they were still runny like batter. You had to have changed the temperature on these to get them to actually bake, right? I’ve never heard of cooking muffins at 180 for 20 minutes or less.
